⚠️ Browser security warnings — How to resolve them

When downloading an .exe file, your browser or Windows may show a security warning. This is completely normal for any desktop application, even the most popular ones. Here is how to proceed in each browser:

Why is ZeusPDF distributed as an .exe file? ZeusPDF is a native desktop application for Windows. It needs access to digital certificates in the system store, the Windows registry for licensing, and digital signature APIs. The .exe installer is the only format that allows this deep integration with Windows. It contains no advertising, telemetry or additional software.

ZeusPDF generates PKCS#7 signatures using certificates from the Windows certificate store (company certificates, trusted CAs and others). These signatures have the same legal validity as those generated with Adobe Acrobat using the same certificate.
Renewal is always optional and manual. It is never renewed automatically or charged without your consent. You can renew from the License → Renew menu or from the Customer Area.
The Annual license includes 12 months of updates and support, renewable optionally on expiry (€50 + VAT/year). The Lifetime license is a one-time payment that includes updates and support forever, with no annual fees. Both include the AI Starter Module: the Annual plan includes it while active, and the Lifetime plan includes it for the first year (renewable as a standalone AI pack from the second year onwards).
