ZeusPDF is a desktop software application for Microsoft Windows (versions 10 and 11) that allows you to view, edit, annotate and digitally sign PDF documents. The application runs entirely locally: no user documents are transmitted to external servers.

ZeusPDF is distributed via an annual licensing system. The software can be downloaded free of charge and trialled for 30 days with all features active (demonstration period). After this period, a paid licence is required to continue using the editing features.

3. Licence

3.1 Type of licence

By purchasing ZeusPDF, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and limited licence to install and use the software on 1 (one) Windows device per licence purchased.

3.2 Duration

The licence is valid for 12 months. During this period you are entitled to use the application with all features active and to receive free updates.

3.3 After expiry

When the licence expires, the application reverts to read-only mode (you can view your PDFs but cannot edit them). The software is not automatically uninstalled. To restore editing features, you must renew your licence.

3.4 Additional licences

If you need to use ZeusPDF on more than one computer, you must purchase one additional licence per device. Additional licences purchased together with the primary licence are available at a discount.

3.5 Activation

The licence is activated by entering the serial number received by email into the application. Activation requires an internet connection only at the moment of activation, to verify the serial.

4. Purchase process

1. The user selects the number of licences on the purchase page.
2. Creates an account (or signs in if they already have one).
3. Completes payment via Stripe (credit/debit card).
4. Immediately after successful payment, receives an email with the activation serial number(s).
5. Downloads the application from the website and activates it with the serial received.

The purchase contract is concluded when the user completes payment and receives the confirmation email with the serial number.

5. Payments and prices

Prices shown on the website include applicable VAT (currently 21% in Spain). The final price is shown before confirming payment.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. ZeusPDF does not store credit card data. All transactions are made over an SSL/TLS encrypted connection.

The price in force at the time of purchase applies. We reserve the right to modify prices for new purchases, without this affecting already-purchased licences or their renewal terms during the contracted period.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of the purchase date, unless you have downloaded and activated the software (under Art. 16(m) of the Directive, which excludes the right of withdrawal for digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium once performance has begun with the consumer's consent).

However, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee: if the application does not meet your needs for a justified technical reason, contact us at soporte@zeuspdf.com and we will assess your case.

To request withdrawal or a refund, contact us with your purchase email and order number.

7. Restrictions

The following are expressly prohibited:

• Copying, distributing, selling or sublicensing the software or serials to third parties.
• Decompiling, disassembling or reverse-engineering the software.
• Modifying the software or creating derivative works without express authorisation.
• Using the software on more devices than licensed.
• Sharing the activation serial with unauthorised persons.
• Using the software for illegal activities or activities that infringe third-party rights.
• Attempting to circumvent the licence protection system.

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate licence revocation without right to a refund.

8. Updates

During the licence validity period, you are entitled to receive all software updates free of charge. Updates may include bug fixes, performance improvements and new features.

We reserve the right to discontinue support for older software versions, with adequate prior notice to users.

9. Technical support

Technical support is provided by email (soporte@zeuspdf.com) on business days, Monday to Friday. Normal response time is 1–2 business days.

Support covers issues related to the operation of the application. It does not cover compatibility issues with third-party software, custom operating system configurations, or proprietary PDF formats.

10. Limitation of liability

ZeusPDF is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law:

• We do not guarantee that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• We are not liable for data loss resulting from use of the software. We always recommend keeping backups of original documents before editing them.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the licence in the last 12 months.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Intellectual property

ZeusPDF, its source code, design, documentation, logos and brand are the property of Internet & Computing Solutions, S.L. or its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The purchase of a use licence does not imply the transfer of any intellectual property rights in the software.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of disputes, the parties submit to the courts of the user's domicile (in the case of consumers) or the domicile of Internet & Computing Solutions, S.L. (for business-to-business contracts).

In the event of disputes with consumers, they may refer to the relevant Consumer Arbitration Board or to the EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
